Institutional Integrity and Anti-Fraud Program

The Institutional Integrity and Anti-Fraud Program supports government and private institutions to strengthen integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in their daily operations. Through practical, scenario-based learning and participatory discussions, the program helps participants understand fraud, corruption, and other integrity risks, while equipping them with the knowledge and skills to prevent them. Designed and delivered by experienced professionals, including Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs), the program promotes ethical decision-making and contributes to building transparent, accountable, and trustworthy institutions..

The Institutional Integrity and Anti-Fraud Program helps government and private institutions strengthen integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in their day-to-day operations. We work with local governments, ministries, departments, agencies, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and private companies to promote workplaces where honesty, responsibility, and transparency are valued and practiced.

Fraud and corruption often begin with small decisions that are ignored, tolerated, or considered normal. This program helps participants understand what fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, and other unethical practices look like in real-life situations, why they occur, and how they can be prevented.

Our approach is practical and participatory. Through real-life scenarios, case studies, group discussions, and interactive activities, participants are encouraged to reflect on situations they may encounter in their own workplaces. This creates meaningful learning experiences that help participants understand integrity risks, think critically about ethical challenges, and explore practical ways of responding to them.

The program creates a safe and engaging environment where participants can openly discuss integrity issues, share experiences, and learn from one another. The focus is not only on identifying problems but also on building a culture where ethical behaviour becomes part of everyday decision-making.

A unique strength of this program is that it is designed and delivered by experienced professionals, including Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) who are members in good standing of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). This brings practical expertise, professional insight, and internationally recognized knowledge in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence.

Through this program, AfriEthics Initiative supports institutions to strengthen integrity, reduce opportunities for fraud and corruption, and build public confidence through ethical and accountable leadership.
